My friend Erica was out visiting this past week. She is my summer
house mate at Glimmerglass Opera, and I dragged her along on all sorts
of letterboxing escapades this past summer.
So, when we weren't at the hospital with Robb, Erica (a.k.a. knitica)
and I were running around after letterboxes. Robb insisted that we
take time out to have some fun.
I think she scooped up twenty-one letterboxes while in the Bay Area.
(I even found a few I hadn't seen before.)
In addition to my letterboxes, Erica found:
Pagarus, the Tidepool Entertainer (I had never seen Fitzgerald at such
low tide -- quite amazing!!!)
Nepenthe, which had been torn apart, and Paul recarved while Erica was
visiting. We took the impression of the new stamp in Robb's hopsital
room.
Lake Merritt Letterbox
Canadian Bandstand
Sleep Drunken Bacchus
Embittered Demeter
Persephone
A Word To The Wise
Salute Vallejo
Magritte: The Therapeutist
Cat and Mouse
Lost Sea Maiden
She also picked up a couple of hitch hikers, and spread cooties around
Robb's hospital room.
And Paul came by with Tabula Rasa, so she was able to participate in that.
Thanks, everyone, for your wonderful creations.
AND WHO DO I HAVE TO THANK FOR THE NIFTY "EXTRAS" IN MY GOOD FORTUNE
LETTERBOX????

Well, my letterboxing package for Robb should finally be on its way
today, so you'll be getting a few more soon too.

That would be me. . .I'm a rabid quilter and have scads of novelty fabric.
I'd just made a cute apron for a friend of mine and knew a few pieces needed
to live in this box.

Oh, thanks for the great addition to Good Fortune!
I think I shared some pictures of my quilting with y'all. I'm a slow
quilter, but I keep at it!
Maybe, when Robb comes home I'll have some time for that sort of
thing...
Thanks again! You really made me smile!
